Training settings

To start a training session on your phone, first head to the training tab. Depending if you have a subscription, you may have a scheduled training session, but you can always create one of your own right there, or load up one of your saved workout templates.

Tap on the first exercise to enter the training screen, if using an Enode sensor, first connect the sensor in the top right and once you tap the first exercise, the sensor will be live and ready to track at this point.

If you tap where the exercise icon is shown, you can switch between exercises. Tapping the 1RM will allow you to manually enter your estimated 1RM for this exercise (this will be adjusted automatically dependent on your performance as well). At the bottom of the screen you will also have two ways of changing the weight that you are using. You can use the + and - buttons or tapping on the weight at the bottom will bring up a scroll wheel adjustment option.

Depending on how you have programmed the workout, you will have a target weight, this may get adjusted through the workout dependent on performance.

If you are manually tracking your workouts, you just need to tap on the first set and a screen will pop up allowing you to enter what you performed. Make sure to press save to store your input. If you have a sensor, you can also decide if you want to manually track some exercises and use the sensor for others.

Depending on your input regarding exertion, the app may recommend changing the load for the next set. If you want to accept the changes, tap on 'Accept Load' at the bottom of the screen. You can tap on the same set again to make changes or by long pressing on the set you will be able to make it a warm up set, edit your input or delete the set.

If you are using an Enode sensor, there will be a number of icons in the top right hand side of the screen. The first is to open up the camera, once open and you perform a rep, video and metrics will automatically be tracked.

The speaker symbol is to turn the metric readouts on or off if you are using the sensor. The ruler symbol allows you to change the minimal distance setting for the sensor, this is a distance that the sensor has to travel before it measures. This setting can be changed to make sure the sensor does not measure when un-racking the bar, for example. Too high a number here and the sensor may not pick up reps and too low may mean the sensor picks up unwanted movements as reps. The default setting usually works but you may need to adjust this.

The final icon is the metric selection icon, allowing you to choose which metrics you wish to see during live feedback, we have separate article on metric selection.
